T5 Program Summary: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons in April 2023. Parsons is the prime contractor. This $1.8+ billion contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. The statement of work includes a variety of activities that support the FAA’s Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and certain reimbursable programs, the FAA NextGen Program, national security programs and aviation safety. Specifically, work includes site selection and engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, drafting, contract surveillance, and other technical services as required. Work is performed across the nation in each of the FAA’s nine regions as well as the Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey and in several U.S. territories. An average staff of 500 with a peak staff over 650 supports this contract, in addition to those subcontractors who perform construction work.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. General requirements:
Performs a variety of moderately-complex office construction project administrative and coordination assignments related to self-performed or subcontracted design-build infrastructure projects including buildings, communications towers and FAA infrastructure. The coordinator at this level regularly engages in problem analysis and exercises discretion and independent judgment in selecting and applying general industry practices. May give functional guidance to craft or lower-level technical personnel. Willingness to travel to construction site locations is expected.
B. Specific duties include:
· Provides support to the Project Manager(s) for assigned tasks in the areas of engineering management, subcontracts management, and construction management.
· Develops and manages systems/tools for tracking documentation and tasks throughout the project life cycle.
· Monitors progress of multiple projects and provides reports to supervisors and clients including written and oral status reports.
· Coordinates submittals and deliverables both internal to Parsons and to and from outside organizations, including subcontractors and the client.
· Assists with the preparation of risk management plans
· Prepares SharePoint sites for project organization, document control, and stakeholder coordination management.
· Reviews and monitors project cost in assistance to the Project Manager.
· Reviews and monitors project schedules in assistance to the Project Manager
· Coordinates with field staff to handle daily issues such as posting and organizing daily reports and project photos.
· Assists in construction management duties such as coordinating subcontractor submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), Field Instructions (FIs), daily reports, photographs, etc.
· Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications:
· 4-year degree in a related engineering, architecture or construction management discipline or 5+ years of related experience.
· Familiar with Microsoft Office programs, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Project, and other standard industry software packages.
· Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.

Must be able to meet customer security requirements. A background check by Federal Authorities will be performed.
