Insight Global is seeking a Business Applications Developer/Analyst for a top hospitality industry client. This candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting business-critical Microsoft Access and Excel solutions that drive workforce management, operational planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Access, Excel, VBA, and SQL, along with experience integrating enterprise databases and financial systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on both maintaining critical legacy applications and supporting modernization efforts, while partnering closely with stakeholders to deliver impactful business solutions. Candidates should be comfortable demonstrating their technical capabilities in a live interview through Excel, Access, and SQL exercises

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience
5+ years developing advanced Microsoft Access applications
5+ years of advanced Microsoft Excel and VBA development
Strong SQL development experience (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar)
Experience integrating applications with enterprise databases and financial systems
Experience supporting operational, workforce management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to demonstrate hands-on Excel, Access, and SQL skills during a live interview Hospitality, travel, cruise, airline, hotel, or tourism industry experience
Workforce planning, labor allocation, scheduling, or forecasting experience
Power BI, Power Query, Power Apps, or Power Automate experience
SSRS and SSIS experience
Snowflake, data warehousing, or business intelligence experience
