Summary You will serve as a Management Analyst at the GG-13 grade level serving as the Joint Interagency Task Force (JIATF) West Director's direct representative and liaison to U.S. and foreign government officials in assigned countries. Responsibilities You will provide staff expert advice on U.S. Embassy and JIATF West programs, projects, and plans for assigned countries to include Significant Security Cooperation initiatives. You will be responsible for associated planning and oversight of DoW counter-drug (CD) Theater Security Cooperation objectives and when directed, counter transnational crime programs and activities. You will support the operational activities of the Task Force through planning, coordinating and monitoring in-theater engagements with U.S. and partner nation entities for assigned countries. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: Planning, developing, and executing security cooperation programs, preferably related to counter-drug or counter-transnational crime initiatives. Coordinating with U.S. government interagency partners (i.e. DoD, DoS, DoJ) and foreign government officials. Experience in strategic or operational planning, including the development of implementing plans and performance measures to align with higher-level strategic goals. Serving as a liaison or direct representative for a senior leader organization in a diplomatic, military, or interagency environment.
