Research Analyst (Media & Audience Insights)Our media and entertainment client is seeking a Research Analyst to support audience measurement, ratings analysis, competitive intelligence, and consumer insights initiatives. This role will partner with internal stakeholders to deliver data-driven recommendations that inform programming, content strategy, marketing efforts, and business decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career media researcher or analyst with experience using Nielsen ratings data and a passion for television, streaming, and audience insights. Duration: 4-Month Contract Location: New York, NY Schedule: 40 hours per week Work Arrangement: HybridQualifications Bachelor's degree required 1+ years of experience with Nielsen NPower 1+ years of experience in media, television, entertainment, audience measurement, or related research Understanding of television ratings, audience engagement, and viewership metrics Experience analyzing data and translating findings into actionable insights Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to present research findings to stakeholders Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Preferred: Experience with Comscore Preferred: Experience with Nielsen Content Link, Lake5, or Star Media Preferred: Experience supporting television, streaming, media, or entertainment brands Preferred: Experience with survey design, survey programming, and analysis Preferred: Community or panel management experience Preferred: Experience with Alida or similar consumer research platformsKey Responsibilities Produce daily, weekly, and monthly audience reporting Analyze television and streaming performance data Support competitive intelligence and marketplace trend analysis Develop research-driven recommendations for stakeholders and leadership teams Communicate findings through presentations, reports, meetings, and email communications Monitor industry trends and shifts across television and streaming platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams supporting content and marketing initiatives Identify audience behaviors, marketplace trends, and consumer insights Support ad hoc research requests and business analysesIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
