The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.
Position Summary
The intern will support ServiceNow platform transformation initiatives within Technology Operations, gaining hands-on exposure to service catalog, workflow documentation, testing, reporting, process improvement, and AI-enabled service experiences under team guidance.

Key Responsibilities
Support ServiceNow workstreams through documentation, testing, reporting, configuration support, and process improvement.
Assist with service catalog, employee experience, catalog item review, and intake form documentation.
Create and maintain process maps, requirements summaries, job aids, test scripts, notes, and SOP drafts.
Participate in UAT support, workflow checks, defect tracking, and follow-up activities.
Help maintain dashboards and reporting for request trends, backlog, testing progress, usage, and performance.
Assist with virtual agent testing, intelligent routing validation, intent taxonomy review, and knowledge support improvements.
Collaborate with platform, product, development, process, and business stakeholders.
Prepare stakeholder materials and a final summary of work completed, value delivered, lessons learned, and recommendations.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
Willingness to learn new technologies, business processes, and enterprise platform concepts.
Collaborative, organized, dependable, self-motivated, and open to feedback.
Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2027 (May-August 2027) with a graduation date of December 2027 or later

Preferred Qualifications
Coursework or project experience in business analysis, process improvement, software development, analytics, or related areas.
Familiarity with ServiceNow, workflow platforms, ITSM, service catalog, or enterprise request management is a plus.
Interest or exposure in testing, requirements documentation, reporting, dashboards, data analysis, or process mapping.
Interest in employee experience, automation, AI-enabled service delivery, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.

The range for this position is $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly. Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
