Position Information:
The Salesforce Operations Manager is a critical role responsible for maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Salesforce platform to productivity and growth. This individual will be a Salesforce expert, business strategist, and project manager, ensuring that Salesforce aligns with the clients goals and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Administration:Advise on Salesforce user accounts, profiles, roles, and permissions.
- Maintain data quality and integrity.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and custom visualizations.
- Manage integrations with other systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation).
- Salesforce Optimization:Analyze sales processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design and implement solutions to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce best practices and governance.
- Project Management:Lead Salesforce projects from initiation to completion, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment.
- Manage project budgets and timelines.
- Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders.
- User Training and Support:Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing users.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Salesforce issues.
- Stay Current:Stay up-to-date on Salesforce releases and new features.
- Attend Salesforce conferences and webinars.
- Participate in Salesforce community forums.
- Agile Maturity and Best Practices:Facilitate agile sprint planning sessions and ensure sprint commitments are met.
- Implement agile practices such as DOD, DOR, Gherkin, acceptance criteria, and personas.
- Lead estimation efforts using techniques like story points and t-shirt sizing.
- Backlog Prioritization and Estimation:Work with product owners to prioritize the backlog.
- Lead LOE estimation for backlog items.
- Stakeholder Engagement:Facilitate sprint reviews and demos with stakeholders.
- Communicate the impact of changes and push back on last-minute requests.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder) preferred.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in Salesforce administration and/or development. Experience in sales operations or a related field preferred.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and functionality.
- Expertise in Salesforce configuration and customization.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (e.g., APIs, webhooks).
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in agile estimation techniques.
- SAFe or Scrum certifications (e.g., SAFe Agilist, Certified ScrumMaster).
- Knowledge of CMMI and/or ISO certifications.
