Position Information:
The IT Product Services Manager is a dynamic role responsible for the full lifecycle management of IT products and services, from conception to retirement. This individual will be a strategic thinker, technical expert, and customer advocate, ensuring that IT products and services deliver value to the business and meet user needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT product and service strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Product Roadmap: Define product roadmaps, prioritizing features and enhancements based on market trends, user feedback, and business needs.
- Product Development: Oversee the development and implementation of new IT products and services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and high quality.
- Service Management: Manage the ongoing support and maintenance of IT products and services, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and select technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
- Customer Satisfaction: Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve IT products and services.
- Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT products and services.
- Agile Maturity and Best Practices: Facilitate agile sprint planning sessions and ensure sprint commitments are met.
- Backlog Prioritization and Estimation: Work with product owners to prioritize the backlog.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in IT product management, service management, or related field.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT product development lifecycle (SDLC) and service management frameworks (ITIL).
- Expertise in cloud computing, data management, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certified Product Manager (CPM), ITIL Certified, or relevant certifications a plus.
- Proficiency in agile estimation techniques.
- SAFe or Scrum certifications (e.g., SAFe Agilist, Certified ScrumMaster).
- Knowledge of CMMI and/or ISO certifications.
