Job Description
On a day-to-day basis, this person will review trade allowance deductions to ensure they are accurately coded to the correct promotional or financial events, while identifying and correcting any mis-coded items and digging into root causes to prevent future issues. They will build and maintain a clear knowledge base outlining best practices for reviewing and coding deductions, including customer-specific nuances, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to improve consistency. Additionally, they will support the Director of Sales Finance by helping manage the Blacksmith TPM system and assisting with administrative tasks tied to the monthly close process.

Skills and Requirements
Manager-level candidate or a strong Senior Analyst with approximately 6+ years of experience
Background in CPG sales finance and/or AR deduction management
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to navigate ambiguity and identify effective solutions
Excellent collaboration and cross-functional partnership skills
Experience working with complex datasets to develop competitive pricing strategies that drive market share, revenue, and margin growth
Analyze pricing data from multiple sources and provide recommendations on optimal pricing decisions
Forecast revenue, margins, and market share impacts
Partner with sales, marketing, and commercial teams to provide insights on category trends, pricing opportunities, and competitive threats
Prepare and present analyses and recommendations to sales, marketing, and executive leadership
Experience within CPG or food manufacturing environments preferred
