AI/ML Engineer

Your ability to design and maintain robust AI and ML pipelines, automate workflows, and integrate AI capabilities into production systems makes you an essential part of delivering resilient, mission-focused solutions. As an AI and ML engineer on our national security team, you'll build, test, deploy, and operate software endtoend AI pipelines that keep mission systems running securely and efficiently.

You Have:
Experience with data science, ML engineering, software engineering, data research, or data analytics
Experience building and deploying AI and ML solutions into production
Experience implementing document RAG and Graph RAG solutions
Experience building applications leveraging LLMs for automation tasks such as text summarization or customized reports, including with multi-agent solutions
Experience adapting and fine-tuning open-source models
Experience with object-oriented Python programming and best practices
Experience with containerization technology such as Docker, Helm, or Kubernetes
Ability to create solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with AI and ML, or 6+ years of experience with AI and ML in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with databases such as Qdrant, Milvus, or Elasticsearch
Experience with Elasticsearch index
Experience with relational databases such as Postgres
Experience with on-prem compute
TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
