Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a TS/SCI Simulation Environment Engineer to support advanced modeling and simulation efforts for a government customer in Charlottesville, VA. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance, along with
a Bachelor's degree in STEM and 3+ years' of AFSIM (Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling) modeling & simulation experience OR 7+ years of AFSIM modeling & simulation experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience with C++ and Python are required. This individual will build and execute complex simulation scenarios using AFSIM and related modeling tools to evaluate military systems and mission outcomes. The pay for this role ranges from $50-$86/hour, based on experience.

Skills and Requirements
Active TS/SCI Clearance
7+ years of AFSIM (Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling) modeling & simulation experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in STEM and 3+ years' of AFSIM modeling & simulation
Experience developing and analyzing simulation scenarios
Proficiency with Python, MATLAB, C++, or similar programming languages
Experience with statistical analysis, Monte Carlo methods, and Design of Experiments (DoE)
Knowledge of military systems such as radar, missile, electronic warfare, air defense, or C2 systems
Experience creating data visualizations, dashboards, scripting, and analytical reports - Experience developing custom AFSIM scripts
Experience analyzing large simulation datasets and identifying key trends
Ability to present complex technical findings to non-technical audiences
