Responsibilities Serving as a Supervisory Criminal Investigator GS-1811-15 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) under the Deputy Director (DD). The primary purpose of this position is to serves as Supervisory Criminal Investigator (Special Agent in Charge) and provides overall planning, management, and operational supervision of criminal and administrative investigations and internal affairs activities enterprise wide. Typical duties include: Supervising and directing investigative staff consisting of Assistant Special Agents in Charge, Criminal Investigators, Special Agents, Administrative Investigators, and Program Analysts responsible for operational integrity and facility safety. Overseeing criminal and administrative investigations involving felonies, misdemeanors, policy violations, federal regulation violations, internal affairs matters, and other reported incidents or crimes. Specialized Experience: You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal government, performing duties such as: (1) Leading and managing complex criminal and administrative investigations, supervising multi-disciplinary law enforcement teams, and overseeing enterprise-level programs. (2) Directing the planning and execution of investigations involving felonies, misdemeanors, and policy violations, ensuring compliance with all legal and procedural requirements. (3) Coordinating interagency efforts, developing investigative policies, and managing sensitive cases with national security and counterintelligence implications. (4) Provided authoritative guidance to senior leadership, represented my agency in high-level forums, and ensured effective program administration, staff development, and stakeholder communication.
