This role is more than just coding. We need a
sof
tware
develop
er who will use their passion for secure, quality
sof
tware and modern
develop
ment practices to learn new tools and techniques, including using approved AI tools to recommend and implement DevOps
sof
tware process improvements, automate testing, configure tools to support secure
sof
tware QA, and mentor teammates. Using tools like GitLab, ReST, FastAPI
and other
s that you may recommend, and
sof
tware languages, including Python and JavaScript, you'll build test frameworks, test automation
sof
tware, and secure
sof
tware solutions that provide capabilities to support customer missions. You'll leverage communications
skills
to coordinate with team members and customers in a fast-paced mission environment and collaborate within the Atlassian Suite of tools. You'll analyze the needs and environment to make sure the solution you're
develop
ing considers the
current
architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:
Experience with Software development in Python or JavaScript
Experience with software testing, including automated testing
Experience with IDEs like VS Code, Visual Studio, or Jetbrains
Experience with Docker or Podman
Experience with Git, RESTful APIs
Experience implementing version control approaches in software pipelines
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in CS or an Engineering field and 3+ years of experience with software, database engineering, or software testing, or 7+ years of experience with software, database engineering, or software testing in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Cypress
Experience automating software processes with Github Actions or other automation platforms
Experience working with Atlassian Suite, and in the Agile software lifecycle, including Scrum and Kanban approach
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
