Description
We are seeking an independent and business-focused BI Developer to design, develop, and support reporting and analytics solutions that align with organizational needs and operational requirements. This role will work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives, gather requirements, and deliver scalable BI solutions that provide meaningful insights for decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with T-SQL, SSRS, and Power BI, along with the ability to integrate data from multiple platforms and systems. Experience in gaming, hospitality, or casino operations is a plus. Spanish-speaking ability is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business users and leadership to understand organizational needs, reporting requirements, and data priorities
Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions
Build and optimize reports using SSRS and interactive dashboards in Power BI
Write, troubleshoot, and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and data processes in T-SQL
Connect and integrate the BI platform with multiple data sources, including:
Light & Wonder systems
SQL databases
Excel and CSV files
Other casino operational systems
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting environments
Translate raw data into actionable business insights for operational and leadership teams
Work independently to manage priorities, troubleshoot issues, and deliver solutions with minimal supervision
Support ongoing enhancements to BI architecture, reporting processes, and data accessibility
Requirements
Experience as a BI Developer, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role
Strong hands-on experience with:
T-SQL
SSRS
Power BI
Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical reporting solutions
Experience connecting BI/reporting tools to multiple structured and unstructured data sources
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Light & Wonder systems
Background supporting casino, gaming, or hospitality operations
Familiarity with other casino operational platforms and data environments
Spanish-speaking skills are a plus
