This position requires an ACTIVE DoD TS/ SCI Security Clearance. General Responsibilities: Provide analytical/operational insight and experience as an Intelligence Systems SME. Work with Department of Defense (DoD), Industry, and Academia partners and Systems Engineers to provide advice on the implementation of technologies to enhance current Intelligence capability sets. Provide recommendations and advice based on understanding of national and DoD systems and architectures and their associated capabilities, limitations, derived products, and their respective tasking, collection, processing, exploitation and dissemination processes. Stay abreast of Information based gaps (both functional and technical) and advances in technologies to identify opportunities for DoD investment and development Provide project management and facilitation support for selected projects. Support End-User Engagement events, facilitate capability enhancement discussions, and testing events. Liaise with the greater Intelligence Community (IC) in order to identify capability transition opportunities, navigating partnerships, requirements development, potential funding streams, and transition processes. Liaise with DoD and IC organizations and entities in order to identify capability gaps and rapid technology insertion opportunities. Requires up to 25% travel annually. Minimum Qualifications: Active DoD Top Secret Clearance / SCI Bachelor's degree and 7 to 12 years experience. A total of 16 years experience without a degree. Extensive experience with, and knowledge of, DoD and Service-level Intelligence and Information communities as well as associated systems and operations. Possess a high degree of technical and operational competence and expertise within the Information Operations realm; specifically with Joint, DoD, Navy, and Marine Corps capabilities and activities. Demonstrated success in supporting DoD stakeholder activities and initiatives by contributing senior-level expertise towards their objectives. Ability to interact and communicate with senior levels of military leadership effectively and competently. Recent demonstrated experience (within the past 5 years or less) of providing Intelligence expertise supporting DoD and/ or IC intelligence capabilities development and enhancements. Ability to act as a successful member of technical teams towards development of operational intelligence and information-related capabilities that support the information enterprise and tactical environments. Knowledge and experience in reviewing, improving, and documenting intelligence capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with experience developing and delivering briefings to senior managers. Ability to work well independently and in a collaborative team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Family of Software and Tools such as Office, Visio, SharePoint, Project. Ability to remain seated for 50% of the time. Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of DoD programs of record, acquistion life cycles, systems engineering processes, and requirements and capabilities development processes (e.g. JCIDS) Prior senior military, civilian, and/or contractor experience supporting DoD, Navy, and/or USMC Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) or similar systems at an advanced level. Knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW), Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO), Operations Security (OPSEC), Military Deception (MILDEC), and other related Information Environment operations. Possess knowledge and experience in leading and facilitating analysis and developmental efforts on highly complex organization problems or mission specific operational problems.
