POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager is the primary point of contract for all matters pertaining to the task order and is ultimately responsible for ensuring all requirements of the statement of work are met. The Project Manager is physically located at the project site and oversees the activities of workforce daily. The Project Manager meets with U.S. and Host Nation Government Representatives, submits logistics, milestone, budget reports and upholds the Company Code of Conduct. The Project Manager is identified as key personnel. This position is being recruited in anticipation of future vacancies and may be contingent upon government acceptance of your credentials and contract award. This position will be deployed to locations in Sub-Saharan Africa.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Project Schedule
- Manage the Transportation Plan for all marine freight, air, and ground transportation for movement of procured equipment.
- Manage the Mobilization Plan. Update Task Order Task/Activities start dates and associated milestones for the implementation of training, technical assistance, and tracking of consumable supplies.
- Manage the Emergency Evacuation Plan by preparing plans and procedures for evacuation of personnel in the event of a natural or manmade emergency.
- Manage the Risk Mitigation Plan by developing and implementing plans and procedures to reduce the potential for risk to affect project milestones, activities, or budget.
- Manage the Quality Control Plan through monitoring of contract deliverables, ensuring task are performed to the acceptable quality level and develop corrective action plans when necessary to prevent non-conformance.
- Manage the Project Training Schedule to ensure that all equipment, materials, and personnel are provided to the Host Nation to meet the approved project schedule.
- Audit the instruction of Project Trainers/Mentors to ensure that the approved Program of Instruction is provided without deviations.
- Submit procurement, shipping, and logistic reports as scheduled.
- Manage the storage and accountability of Government Furnished Property.
- Submit Incident and After Action Reports as required.
- Participate in all meetings and calls with the U.S. Government that pertain to the Task Order.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years’ experience managing Task Order(s) in excess of $5 million
- 3 years of experience in Sub-Saharan Africa
- 3 years of experience managing logistics
- Experience training foreign military personnel
- A bachelor’s degree
- U.S. Military O5
- Preference for French Level 3/3

WORKING CONDITIONS
The position may require extensive sitting, watching monitors, walking around the facility outside in rain, wind or other poor weather conditions and kneeling and stooping to look under or inside vehicles or containers.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
