Summary You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the Finance Competency 1.0 of NAVAL INFORMATION WARFARE SYSTEMS COMMAND. Responsibilities You will review, analyze, and formulate budgets for assigned programs related to General Fund programs. You will provide budget defense to higher authorities. You will draft written responses to requests for information. You will receive and prepare allocation documents for general fund appropriations. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of Department of Defense (DoD) General Fund budgets; supporting the formulation and tracking of critical Navy appropriations; and monitoring commitments, obligations, and expenditures using key financial systems (such as Navy ERP, PBIS, and ADVANA/Jupiter) to ensure resources are utilized efficiently and aligned with approved spend plans.
