Join our team as a Chemist, where you will play a crucial role in processing analyses to gather data for chemical pilot plant work. In this position, you will prepare samples and perform both physical and chemical analysis using a variety of equipment, including gas chromatography and various wet chemistry methods. Your responsibilities will also include troubleshooting, cleaning, and maintaining instrumentation, as well as processing analytical data using PC applications, making related chemical and sample calculations, and producing logbooks.
Responsibilities

Essential Skills
Proficiency in wet chemistry and gas chromatography (GC).
Experience in analytical analysis and chromatography.
Bachelors degree in chemistry with 1 year of experience or Masters degree with 0 years of experience.
Experience in an analytical lab setting.
Experience with GC setup, sample valves, calibration, troubleshooting, operation, and training.
Flexibility to work all shifts, including some weekends.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with laboratory analytical instrumentation.
Hands-on experience with chromatography and wet chemistry techniques.
Work Environment
You will be working in a research-focused lab environment, not manufacturing. The schedule requires flexibility between 6am-10pm, with some weekend work required. The dress code is casual, but steel-toed boots or shoes are required for safety. The position offers shift differential pay of an additional $3/hr for weekend work. All necessary PPE will be provided. Training will be hands-on, as you will shadow a current chemical analyst.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
