Responsibilities You will be responsible for contract close-out of all actions awarded by NIWC PAC Contracts Dept. to include contracts, task/delivery orders, purchase orders, grants and cooperative agreements. You will be responsible for performing administrative actions related to contract close out; e.g., modifications to deobligate excess funding. You will provide consultation and assistance to contracting officers on matters related to contract close-out; e.g., settlement of cost overruns, verification of final receipt of contract deliverables, etc. You will provide direction to subordinate personnel for the processing of patent certifications and final acceptance requests by DCMA and ONR. You will provide direction for the shipment of contract files to federal records upon verification of final close-out. You will be responsible for maintaining the close-out database to reflect the current status of each action and collecting, analyzing and creating report data for senior leadership, data calls. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying a wide variety of contracting methods and contract types sufficient to perform pre-award, post-award, contract price, cost analysis functions when the contract actions are not well defined or well precedence; statutes, regulations, and/or procedures so as to be able to perform procurement functions that are not well defined or well precedented. The pay schedule and pay band for all Administrative Specialist/Professional Positions will be NO-1/2/3/4/5/6. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
