Job Description
As an Operations Transition Engineer on our team, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues and the military on our largest Space Sensors Systems Engineering and Integration program to develop and deploy the next generation of Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) capabilities to our warfighters. Your client will trust you to develop and execute system transition plans to transition system from development to operations and sustainment. You will work with system testers, operators, and sustainers to develop and help implement transition and sustainment support strategies and participate in transition planning working groups.
PAY RATE $65-85/h

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience with large-scale USSF space mission and systems engineering and integration on national security space programs
4+ years of experience developing system transition and sustainment plans
Experience with stakeholder engagement, project management, and communications
Knowledge of system engineering management and processes, including development phasing, lifecycle integration, requirements development, analysis, testing, and integration
Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
Ability to be highly motivated and work independently with a dynamic environment and contribute to the DoD mission
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science field
