University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks for a full-time Data Security Analyst Sr.
Job description: The Data Security Analyst Sr. in the University's Huntsman Cancer Institute Utah Population Database (UPBD) Shared Resource unit will develop and implement security measures for the protection of the computer network and information; identify and evaluate vulnerabilities for security risks; monitor network usage to ensure compliance with security policies; stay up to date on developments with IT security standards and threats; perform tests for security flaws, and document and assess security breaches.
Requires at least a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Security, and 24 months employment experience in the information security field, including experience with: SIEM-based monitoring solutions; penetration testing; NIST security frameworks; vulnerability management; incident response; and system administration in Windows and Linux environments.
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm., off Saturday and Sunday.
