Description
We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of strategic finance and artificial intelligence - you will own core FP&A responsibilities while simultaneously championing an AI-first approach to transform how the finance function operates. The ideal candidate is both a strong finance manager and a passionate advocate for leveraging AI/ML to drive efficiency, accuracy, and strategic insight at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (Core FP&A)
Own end-to-end financial planning processes including annual operating plans, long-range forecasts, and monthly/quarterly business reviews
Develop and maintain financial models to support revenue forecasting, cost optimization, and scenario planning
Partner with business leaders to provide actionable financial insights, variance analysis, and recommendations that influence strategic decisions
Prepare executive-level financial narratives, bridge analyses, and KPI reporting packages
Drive the monthly close process from an FP&A perspective - ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and insightful commentary
Identify risks and opportunities through deep-dive analysis and proactive financial monitoring
AI-First Finance Transformation
Define the AI Vision for FP&A: Develop and execute a roadmap to embed AI/ML capabilities across the FP&A function - from forecasting and anomaly detection to automated reporting and natural language insights
Build & Deploy AI Solutions: Identify, pilot, and scale AI-powered tools (e.g., predictive forecasting models, intelligent automation, generative AI for narrative generation) that reduce manual effort and improve decision quality
Champion an AI-First Mindset: Evangelize the use of AI across the broader finance organization; lead training sessions, create playbooks, and establish best practices for AI adoption
Automate & Optimize: Identify repetitive, low-value tasks within FP&A workflows and design AI/automation solutions to eliminate them - freeing up capacity for higher-order strategic work
Data Strategy & Governance: Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure clean, accessible, and well-governed data pipelines that power AI models
Measure AI Impact: Define success metrics for AI initiatives (e.g., forecast accuracy improvement, hours saved, cycle time reduction) and report progress to leadership
Driving AI Capability Across Finance
Serve as the AI subject matter expert within the finance organization - staying current on emerging AI/ML technologies and their applicability to finance use cases
Build a community of practice around AI in finance; mentor peers and junior analysts on AI tools and techniques
Collaborate with engineering, data science, and product teams to co-develop AI solutions tailored to finance needs
Contribute to the development of AI governance frameworks, ensuring responsible and ethical use of AI in financial decision-making
