Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the NEW PROFESSIONAL & STEM DEV of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA. Responsibilities You will be responsible for planning, budget, projected and actual expenditures, STRL and successful placement into NIWC Pacific You will collaborate with Branch, Division, Senior Leadership, Human Resources, Corporate Strategy Groups, Committees, competency leads, and other relevant stakeholders to support and execute program hiring plans, training, travel etc. You will promote strategies that require analysis, intervention, implementation with direct feedback to Corporate Operations Group (8.0) of change models, risks and assessment of organizational effectiveness. You will work with various teams to successfully onboard talent for NIWC Pacific, which includes hiring process advisement (evaluation, ranking, selection), pre-employment security reviews, and onboarding scheduling. You will oversee all areas related to New Professional (NP) training and employee development, including providing guidance and interpretation of Navy, DOW, and Federal training regulations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing day-to-day operations, administration, workforce planning, and/or execution of strategic hiring initiatives to recruit and hire recent graduate Engineers and Scientists through college and university outreach programs; facilitating onboarding and or integration of New Professionals into the organization. Education Additional Information This position is in the Science & Technology Reinvention Laboratory (STRL) Human Resource Management System pay band for Department of Defense laboratories. The pay schedule for all Supervisor Positions will be NM-2/3/4/5/6. This position is eligible for ad-hoc/situational telework at the discretion of management.
