Position Overview
As a GIS Analyst, you will support the development of data-driven geographic information products by acquiring, analyzing, and maintaining
geospatial data. This role involves applying both technical GIS skills and attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of geospatial
information.
You will play a key role in supporting project deliverables by working with both internal teams and external contributors to produce high-quality
mapping and data outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Acquire, analyze, compile, evaluate, and review geospatial data for standard and non-standard products
Attribute, extract, manipulate, format, position, and symbolize geospatial datasets
Work with vector data and digitizing processes to build accurate mapping outputs
Ensure the quality, accuracy, and currency of all geospatial products
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet project requirements
Support geospatial data needs for national, military, and civil applications
Required Qualifications
Working knowledge of ESRI GIS software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Map, or ArcMap)
Experience extracting, manipulating, and utilizing GIS data
Familiarity with vector data and digitizing techniques
GIS coursework, certifications, or relevant academic experience
Basic proficiency with standard office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience using ArcGIS tools such as:
Feature creation and editing
Attribution and data management
Buffers, joins/relates, and queries
Reshaping and manipulating spatial data
Strong understanding of GIS concepts such as topology and data integrity
Work Environment
Hybrid schedule for candidates local to St. Louis
100 % Remote options for candidates outside the area, however they must provide their own computer

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
