Job Title: Analyst -- Fund Operations and Analytics
Location: 111 E Sego Lily Drive, STE 400, Sandy, UT 84070
Duties: Learn and specialize in accounting system configuration and functions in supporting existing or new reporting queries and scripts. Further develop and maintain various SQL Server programmable database objects such as stored procedures, views and user-defined functions. Develop and maintain SQL queries from accounting and CRM systems for internal and external reporting, dashboards of fund performance, and other financial and investor data and KPIs. PowerBI, SSRS, Excel and other reporting software may be utilized. Conduct analyses of functional business processes and requirements and participate in the development of business cases in the support of process changes. Derive ad hoc queries for investment data for Marketing and Investor Relations teams to assist in capital raising and Investor inquiries. Provide oversight and quality assurance for investment and investor entity and data flow between accounting, reporting, investor portal and business intelligence systems. Coordinate with external investor advisory groups in account balance and transaction, reconciliation and facilitate reporting. This position supervises 1 Analyst.
Requirements: Must have Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, or related; 1 month of experience as a Research Assistant or a related position, which must include: Analyzing faculty reimbursement records from SAP Concur using advanced Excel skills to identify drivers of expense rejections and improve expense reporting accuracy. Supporting COVID-era university impact analysis by conducting detailed literature reviews and research across public and academic sources, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative findings to assess faculty well-being and stress on university operations. Conducting social and governance focused ESG analysis on American Airlines using Bloomberg Terminal and Capital IQ, reviewing ESG scores and public disclosures to assess how governance and social factors may have contributed to the company's 2011 bankruptcy.
