Senior Implementation Engineer (inContact, Inc.; Sandy, UT): Lead the planning, configuration, and implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions for clients, including data integration, dashboard creation, and reporting. Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, workflows, and data needs, translating these into effective BI solutions. Proactively analyze client business processes and data to identify opportunities for deeper, more actionable insights. Work closely with cross-functional teams (Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Product, and Sales) to ensure that BI solutions are integrated effectively with client data systems. Design and implement data pipelines, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and integration with various data sources (including databases, APIs, and cloud platforms). Develop custom dashboards, reports, and visualizations that enable clients to analyze and gain insights from the data. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BI tools, data pipelines, and system integrations during the implementation process. Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients on how to use BI tools, interpret reports, and analyze data effectively. Create and maintain technical documentation including data models, system architecture, and implementation guides for clients and internal teams. Ensure the delivery of BI solutions on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Provide ongoing support and optimization of BI solutions post-implementation to ensure that clients maximize the value of their BI investments. Mentor and guide junior engineers and other technical staff, sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative work environment. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging BI technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the implementation process and BI solutions.
