About the role
Located in Pinkenba, the L3Harris Regional Support Centre (RSC) is a multi-faceted logistics support entity that provides the L3Harris Defence Australia programs with integrated logistics support. Within this facility, as a member of the Supply Chain team, this role is responsible for providing logistics support to a multitude of L3Harris projects, standing offers and services associated with the freight and distribution of L3Harris communications equipment and ancillaries.
What the role will involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
- Coordinate and manage the return, repair, and replacement of all in-service L3Harris equipment, ensuring completion of all associated activities
- Oversee warehousing operations and distribution of CCI and Non-CCI equipment within the Integrated Support Centre (ISC)
- Manage inventory to ensure accuracy and serviceability, including quality assurance, battery rotation, and segregation of project stock
- Delivering timely, professional customer service, ensuring equipment management aligns with contractual requirements and ADF logistics policies, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, providing reporting, conducting investigations, and addressing issues as required
- Lead and facilitate stock takes and assurance activities to maintain inventory integrity
- Provide ERP/SAP logistics support to internal teams, including engineering, field service, technicians, and maintenance personnel
- Supervise, guide, and support team members, ensuring effective performance and capability development
- Maintain and continuously improve procedures in line with current policies, contracts, and external regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Current Australian NV1 as a minimum
- License to perform high risk work: LF Forklift
- MILIS or SAP qualifications
- Three to 5 years Team Lead and warehouse experience
- Effective communication and high level of customer service skills
- Knowledge of material handling procedures, Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety requirements.
