Mission Description: Provide technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations and architectures.
Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Clearance: Top Secret SCI with appropriate polygraph.
Compensation: $117,000-126,800 annual salary
Mandatory Requirements:
- Systems Administration experience
- Systems Architecture experience
Education Requirements:
- High School or GED with 19 years of experience OR Bachelors Degree with 14 years of experience
Position Description:
- Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
- Maintains an organization's computer systems' workflows and is responsible for the upkeep configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including fixing network issues along with updating equipment and software.
- Provide technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations and architectures.
- Troubleshoots moderately complex system hardware and software issues.
- Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software.
- Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
- Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels.
- Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions.
- Ensures data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.
- Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure computers meet the needs of network users.
- May evaluate existing systems and assist with planning long-term strategies.
- May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
