Job Description
M1 Global is looking for a driven and detail-oriented SOC Analyst who understands that security is critical to operational success. In this fast-paced role, you'll be at the center of physical security operations-monitoring alarms, coordinating incident response, supporting crisis management efforts, and helping protect high-profile environments through proactive security operations and real-time decision-making.
As part of the Security Operations Center, you'll work alongside dynamic teams to identify threats, streamline security processes, and ensure rapid, effective responses to incidents. What You'll Do
Monitor and assess alarms, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and video surveillance to identify legitimate threats and minimize false alarms
Serve as the central communication hub during security incidents, coordinating responses and dispatching resources as needed
Support crisis management and business continuity operations, including emergency notifications and preparedness initiatives
Conduct audits of security systems and operational procedures to identify vulnerabilities and improve overall performance
Assist with commissioning, testing, configuration, and troubleshooting of security systems across multiple locations
Compile incident documentation, audit evidence, investigative materials, and operational reports
Review alarm trends and operational data to recommend security enhancements and risk mitigation strategies
Monitor video systems, support access management requests, and maintain accurate activity logs and internal records
Participate in drills, tabletop exercises, cross-training, and ongoing professional development programs
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent required (coursework in Criminal Justice, Security, or related fields preferred)
Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC), command center, dispatch, alarm monitoring, or physical security environment preferred
Knowledge of access control systems, intrusion detection systems, CCTV/video surveillance platforms, and security procedures
Strong situational awareness, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities under pressure
Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm and professional during high-priority incidents
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
