Job Summary
The Quality Analyst - Inventory & Materials Control is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and traceability of materials issued from the warehouse to the manufacturing floor. This role focuses on validating work order material requests, monitoring replenishment triggers, and ensuring correct backfill of materials to work centers in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
This position was identified as a critical process improvement area and has strong potential to grow into a long-term role as the organization continues its ERP/WMS transition.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze all materials issued from the warehouse to the manufacturing floor for accuracy against work orders.
Review and validate material requests moving from the stockroom to the production floor.
Ensure all material replenishment processes related to combine scans are active prior to release.
Monitor combine card scans that trigger material issuance and confirm correct backfill to work centers.
Verify accuracy of:
Part numbers
Lot numbers
Serial numbers
Quantities requested vs. quantities issued
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies impacting production.
Work closely with warehouse, production, and materials teams to maintain inventory accuracy and process compliance.

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis of large material datasets)
Not required, but strongly preferred
AS9100 experience preferred but not required
Industry Background

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
