Position Purpose:
Supply Chain Asset Protection Business Intelligence Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting all the supply chain platforms' data, reporting, and analytics requirements and requests. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Data movement and validation from multiple data sources. Report development, validation, and improvements. Code development, validation, and enhancements. Ad hoc data/reporting requests and analysis. The Senior Analyst is also responsible for providing high customer service to Supply Chain Asset Protection associates and business partners. Asset Protection Senior Business Analysts typically take direction from AP Managers, works cross-functionally and collaborates on assigned projects. Being organized, detail oriented, inquisitive, and having strong communication skills are critical for the success of an Asset Protection Business Intelligence Senior Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data gathering tasks and analytics - identify trends, develop solutions, project/strategy planning and data utilization
Produce documents for teams and leadership to review and utilize. Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors. Synthesize findings and make recommendations to upper management.
Build skills and knowledge including self-development, team knowledge and customer (internal) knowledge
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
Typically reports to Asset Protection Manager
No associates report to this role, but requires the leadership of a work group: assign and review work and train to other team members (but not hiring, firing or disciplinary action)
Travel Requirements:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years' experience in related field and/or responsibilities
Advanced SQL, preferably BigQuery
Familiarity with visualizations and ability to assist with report development (Tableau or another reporting platform)
Knowledge of MS access and excel
Knowledge of Python or Java
Knowledge of Analytics Workbench
Exposure to Smartsheet
Eagerness to learn Supply Chain, Asset Protection, and financial processes
Customer Service oriented
Willingness to travel to DCs as necessary and required
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to communicate with key business partners
Ability to work in a team environment
Minimum Education:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
