Job Summary:
BAE Systems' Information Technology (IT), Application Solutions group is seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Power BI Systems Analyst / Developer to support our Functional Apps Digital Content Management service. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business performance through data-driven insights and analytics.
We are looking for a Junior Power BI Systems Analyst / Developer with 2-3 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide insights and recommendations to drive business performance. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to analyze data from multiple sources, identify process and system improvement opportunities, and develop reporting solutions to enable effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and update Power BI dashboards to support the Functional Apps Digital Content Management service, incorporating data from various internal sources, including the Datawarehouse
Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and provide insights and recommendations to drive business performance
Enable effective decision-making by compiling data from multiple sources into a digestible and actionable format
Identify process and system improvement opportunities by monitoring existent metrics, analyzing data, and partnering with internal teams
Design and develop reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions
Assist with gathering client requirements for pending Business Intelligence (BI) projects
Analyze application problems, take corrective action to minimize current and future impact on the user community, and ensure solutions are consistent with operational standards
Provide support for the Midas Data Analytics program and resolve system and client issues
Coordinate with Business Sector BI testing teams to ensure deployment of high-quality products to customers
Support WebCenter Content and Tungsten TotalAgility platforms to optimize program efficiencies for future organization development and Power BI dashboards
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Must have a Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of experience in Power BI development, business intelligence, or quivalent experience in a related field
Proficient in developing and updating Power BI dashboards, data mining, analyzing, and correlating data for automated dashboard updates
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience with other business intelligence tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or SAP BusinessObjects
Experience with Oracle WebCenter and Tungsten TotalAgility
Knowledge of data warehousing and data governance principles
Knowledge of Dataiku and Fivetran
Experience with AWS Redshift
Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
Certification in Power BI or a related field
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $64935 - $110390
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
