JOB DESCRIPTION
Qorvo is looking for an experienced Staff RF/Electrical Engineer to join the Defense and Aerospace High-Power RF (HPRF) product development team. The successful candidate will lead electrical design and development efforts of RF power amplifiers for defense communications, radar and electronic warfare applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build complex HFSS EM models of RF/mmWave multi-stage high gain and high power solid-state amplifiers within channelized and/or enclosed cavities

Integrate MMICs into various housings and assemblies towards innovative High power RF solutions

Develop advanced cascaded MMIC modules using 2.5D and 3D electromagnetic simulators

Design PCB-level power management and analog circuitry required for MMIC biasing and health monitoring
Conduct product checkout, optimization, and design verification testing (DVT) in the test lab

Execute DVT analysis and present results to the internal and/or external customer(s)
