DevSecOps Engineer, Lead
The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to leverage your Platform Engineering expertise in a high impact role Booz Allen has an opportunity to showcase your talents by supporting the United States Air Force. We're looking for a Platform Engineer to join the team. You'll help operate a secure, reliable, and highly available Cloud, Managed Hosting, and Developer Platform.
You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to translate business and development team requirements into automated platform solutions. You'll be responsible for working with a Security and Compliance team and Platform Engineers to implement secure infrastructure features, configurations, and automation to create a dynamic platform-as-a-service for development teams.
You'll use your expertise in DoW impact levels and classifications, AWS cloud, Cloud and Network Security, Containers and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. You'll use excellent communication skills, be able to work independently while leading others, and be able to work across development teams. You'll work in a fast-paced and agile environment.

You Have:
6+ years of experience with DevOps for Containerized or Kubernetes production systems
5+ years of experience with CI/CD and developer workflow automation
5+ years of experience with IaC, including Terraform, Terragrunt, or Ansible
5+ years of experience with Kubernetes Deployment and GitOps tooling
4+ years of experience with Cloud or Network Security architecture
Experience with DoW specifically within cloud architecture, cluster management, security, or networking
Experience with vulnerability management, dynamic and static code analysis, and hardened AMIs and Container Images
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Ability to obtain a DoW 8570 IAT II Certification within 60 days of start date
Nice If You Have:
Experience promoting solutions into higher classification environments
Experience working with or developing Special Access Programs (SAP) mission workloads
Experience working with FENCES and Keycloak
Experience with concepts of Service Meshes such as Istio or AWS App Mesh
Experience with Cloud Native servers, Kubernetes platforms, and container registries
Experience in multiple cloud service providers (CSP)
Experience in Identity Authentication and Authorization, including Single-Sign-On, SAML, or OpenID
Experience managing and configuring Ubuntu, RHEL, or Windows Server operating systems
TS/SCI clearance
Associate level cloud Certification
