GS-12: $90,838.00 to $118,092.00 Responsibilities You will acquire, maintain, and analyze resource products and associated systems in direct support of Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) and Hypersonic Weapons (HSW) planning. You will conduct terminal area planning, route analysis, target analysis, and aimpoint development to ensure mission capability during both deliberate and dynamic planning events that affect national security posture. You will adhere to collection policies, practices, and procedures to ensure timely acquisition, analysis, dissemination, and maintenance of planning support materials and databases. You will develop new mission planning capabilities to address evolving warfare challenges, specifically to support TLAM planning and emerging HSW mission and targeting requirements. You will consistently engage across all directorates and with senior leaders of multiple agencies within the U.S. and U.K. to develop and establish advanced TLAM and HSW mission planning tactics, techniques, procedures, standards, and policies. You will develop and distribute detailed reports to the Navigation, Imagery, and Geospatial Intelligence Requirements and Planning Director, the TLAM Planning Federation, and external agencies as appropriate. You will provide training and subject-matter expertise to CMSA LANT students, analysts, strike officers, system support personnel, and working groups on navigation, imagery, and geospatial topics. You will identify mission related intelligence requirements, capability shortfalls, and training gaps; coordinates resolutions with appropriate agencies and mission partners and implements procedural enhancements as required. You will perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for a GS-12, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the terminologies, methodologies, and research and analytical techniques of target analysis, execution planning, and damage assessment as they relate to TLAMs; in-depth knowledge of the functions, processes, and principles of cruise missile mission planning and mission distribution systems. Experience utilizing knowledge of photogrammetric theory as it relates to NGA's Digital Point Positioning Data Base (DPPDB) and for national/tactical imagery to prepare and produce- geopositioning products for route development. Experience developing and overseeing the development of graphic products, including annotated photographs and overlays, and the reading and plotting of geographic and geodetic coordinates on maps, charts, and remote terminals; ability to review and provide technical oversight of imagery associated with TLAM and other precision guided munitions. Experience applying knowledge of the laws of armed conflict and assignment of no strike areas. Skill includes the discerning of geopolitical and economic influences on actions of target destruction within targeted nation and mitigating potential collateral damage effects. Experience displaying knowledge of target database management functions contained in the targeting cycle; knowledge and understanding of the principles of analytical and statistical properties of computer database management including specific knowledge of computer database organization and access.
