Job Description
Reports To: Director of Data and Analytics
Overview:
This position reports to the Director of Data and Analytics in the Office of Human Resrouces and will provide technical and system support to the Office of Human Resources in managing PeopleSoft technical tasks by collaborating with cross-functional teams, and be required to follow the change management process.
Responsibilities:
Provide complex, non-routine development, analytical and technical support for the Human Resource Management applications (Oracle/PeopleSoft) to enable and enhance the District's administrative operations
Work in a team environment and collaborate with functional staff to define technical scope, impact analysis, issue research, and developing technical solutions for updates, fixes, and enhancements, including providing and evaluating alternative options where appropriate.
Create Reports, Interfaces, customizations, integrations, Org charts, dashboards, and workcenters to address BPS requirements by collaborating with the analysts.
Provide technical expertise to team members.
Deliver technical information, support and training to internal customers to assist them in performing and improving their daily work processes.
Run and manage scheduled processes, interfaces, and integrations.
Ability to manage work independently and handle multiple tasks with overlapping deadlines.
Foster open and clear communication and strong partnerships with team members and cross-functional teams to fully understand their processes, discover needs and problems, and translate it to technical specifications to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the delivery process.
Responsible for technical solution design, development, deployment/cutover, and implementation covering all technical aspects of the PeopleSoft implementation lifecycle, including creation of technical design documents, Unit testing, testing documentation, and migrations.
Follow internal project lifecycle, guidelines, documentation requirements, and approval path.
Meets deadlines and manages multiple dynamic priorities.
Manage the configuration, load, and end of year processes for FutureForce, in collaboration with Budget and Staffing teams.
Qualifications - Required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
5+ years of PeopleSoft development experience
5 years of overall technical experience in system design, project development, and production support of large applications/systems
Minimum of 2 years of technical experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.58 or above.

Dashboards, Workcenters, and Org charts
Extensive experience with SQL and relational databases
Familiarity with PeopleSoft Fluid and Portal Technology is a plus
Knowledge of HTML, CSS is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on timely delivery and solution ownership
Must have a mindset of learning and adopting the latest PeopleTools technologies, Innovating thinking, and Automation focused
Effective problem solver and troubleshooter
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
Must have strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications - Preferred:
PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 experience
Full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementation
Experience in a public school setting, preferably in a large urban district, and/or experience working in Human Resources.
Demonstrated experience with process improvement.
Familiarity with Boston and Boston Public Schools
