Carvana, LLC seeks a Manager, Engineering in Tempe, AZ, to utilize
cutting-edge technologies such as Python, Databricks, and Cloud
platforms to build robust data pipelines that transform raw data into
meaningful and actionable insights. Manage and transform structured and
semi-structured data across multiple data platforms including SQL
Server, A WS S3, Databricks Delta Tables, and Snowflake. Utilize a deep
understanding of data flows in our systems to contribute to problem
solving, ensure data integrity, and optimize the performance of data
stores and ETL processes. Architect, design, and prototype data
solutions to support business strategies and deliver significant
business value. Engage with cross-functional project teams involving
data scientists, product engineers, and analysts to achieve common
objectives. Work closely with Product and Analytics leaders to define
business intelligence needs and translate them into technical
requirements.Orchestrate and implement efficient processes and tasks for
integrating large, diverse datasets from various sources.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer
Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or its
equivalent), plus 10 years of experience.
Requires the following:
10 years of experience working across multiple data platforms
including SQL Server, AWS S3, Databricks Delta Table, or Snowflake.
5 years of experience with Cloud Platforms such as Snowflake or AWS.
2 years of experience with Python or other scripting languages.
2 years of experience with Databricks.
Any amount of experience with big data technologies such as Hive or
Spark.
40 hours/week. Must also have the authority to work permanently in the
