HX5 is currently seeking a Systems Engineer for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Advanced Training Capabilities Division (AFLCMC/WNR) Supporting Simulator Common Architecture and Standards (SCARS) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform systems engineering tasks within AFLCMC and AFMC policies, ensuring alignment with current systems engineering guidance. Review and recommend approaches for integrating technical requirements from government directives
Ensure technical specifications and standards comply with MIL-STD-961E and AFLCMC/EN guidance. Coordinate and integrate inputs to maintain a cohesive systems engineering perspective
Provide technical support across systems engineering and system security engineering functions. Recommend technical tasking assignments as needed.
Contribute systems engineering inputs for acquisition documents such as, SOOs, SOWs, DIDs, CDRLs, ITOs, RFPs, and source-selection
Support systems integration across development, verification, sustainment, risk analysis, HSI, OSS&E, interoperability, and airworthiness processes Aid in developing and updating program documentation, conducting risk assessments, and supporting ACWG and airworthiness certification activities
Review technical databases, BIT failure analyses, FRACAS reports, reliability data, and DR handling to ensure accurate reporting and resolution. Provide system integration guidance, analyze proposals, and assist in producing required documentation within program cost, schedule, and performance constraints
Education and Experience:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:
Master's or doctorate degree in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD.
OR bachelor's degree in a related field and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical
