Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the OFFICE OF THE COMMANDER of NAVAL INFORMATION WARFARE SYSTEMS COMMAND. Responsibilities You will serve as the Inspector General (IG) for Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) and principal advisor to the Commander on inspections, investigations, audit liaison, hotline matters, and command evaluations. You will provide independent oversight to ensure integrity, accountability, and compliance across NAVWAR and subordinate activities. Leads and executes a comprehensive IG program aligned with Department of War (DoW). You will direct and oversee NAVWAR's IG programs, including inspections, investigations, command evaluations, audit liaison and follow-up, and hotline operations. You will ensure compliance with federal law, DoD/DoN regulations, and mandatory guidance governing program execution and fund utilization. You will conduct or oversee investigations involving fraud, waste, abuse, procurement fraud, whistleblower reprisal, questionable intelligence activity (QIA), and significant or highly sensitive matters (S/HSM). You will serve as the Commander's independent representative to review, inspect, or inquire into any matter affecting NAVWAR and its subordinate activities within the AOR. You will determine and manage IG resource requirements, including manpower, training, budget, and program execution. You will establish policy, plan and execute IG programs, manage budget and manpower resources, ensure credentialing and professional development, and maintain compliance with regulatory and enterprise standards. You will demonstrate ability to supervise and develop civilian personnel, promote accountability and ethical conduct, and safeguard highly sensitive and classified information. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band DP-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and controlling an Inspector General's (IG) office functions to include: investigative, evaluations; audit functions and operations. The pay schedule and pay band for all Demonstration Project Professional Positions will be DP-1/2/3/4.
