Summary You will serve as a in the COUNTERINTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SUPPORT OFFICER of NAVAL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIVE SERVICE (NCIS). Responsibilities You will serve as a senior subject matter expert and officer for the management of information collection and synthesis in direct support of the most complex and sensitive CI operations and investigations. You will develop, validate, and manage the full lifecycle of collection requirements, from initial creation to final satisfaction, based on strategic operational needs. You will fuse large volumes of incomplete, ambiguous, and conflicting information from sources (including HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, and other streams) to develop sophisticated, predictive threat pictures and actionable operational insights. You will work directly with operational teams to develop and draft comprehensive operational plans and manages the support lifecycle for assigned cases. You will serve as a primary point of contact for coordinating operational and support activities with external partners, representing the command in working groups and planning meetings Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-13: Must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that includes: Applying counterintelligence concepts and principles to support operations of a complex and sensitive nature; Coordinating operational activities and sharing information with other government or law enforcement agencies; Conducting complex studies of operational processes and recommending solutions; and Communicating complex and sensitive information to a variety of audiences. GS-12: Must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that includes: Assisting in the application of counterintelligence concepts to support operations; Helping to coordinate operational activities with other agencies; Assisting in conducting studies of operational processes; and preparing written and oral reports to support mission activities.
