Job Summary
The Intelligence Specialist, Protection Services, supports the Physical Security and Service Continuity organization by identifying, assessing, and communicating risks that may impact employees, travelers, facilities, and business operations. This role is responsible for monitoring a wide range of information sources, producing timely intelligence products, and supporting incident response and crisis management activities. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical discipline, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to operate independently in a remote environment.

Essential Job Duties
Monitor open-source information, global news, government alerts, and industry intelligence feeds to identify events that may affect personnel, travelers, or business operations
Track emerging geopolitical, security, environmental, and operational risks and escalate relevant findings to leadership. - ensuring risks are identified and escalated, and provides support for remediation of identified risks or issues.
Observe publicly available online discussions and digital environments for indicators of reputational or security-related concerns involving the company, its brands, or senior leaders, using approved tools.
Produce concise, actionable intelligence summaries, alerts, and situational updates for leadership, including event overviews, assessed business impact, and recommended or completed actions.
Develop ad-hoc intelligence products such as risk assessment, travel briefings, and post-incident reports.
Maintain accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all written products.
Support crisis management teams and business leaders during incidents by providing real-time situational awareness and validated information. .
Use the organization's emergency notification system to support employee outreach, awareness messaging, and incident communication workflows.
Assist in the configuration, optimization, and maintenance of intelligence platforms, alerting tools, and monitoring systems; collaborate with vendors on best practices and enhancements.
Maintain and update operational datasets, including contact lists, asset inventories, and distribution groups to ensure accurate and timely outreach during incidents.
Partner with internal Protection Services teams, Physical Security, HR, Legal, Communications, and other stakeholders to ensure intelligence outputs align with organizational needs.
Contribute to the development of internal processes, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
At least 2 years experience in physical security services and/or physical security operations - including experience leading programs at a national/enterprise level, and 1 year of visitor management systems experience, and 1 year of project management experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Demonstrated business continuity/security systems/technology integration experience, including vendor management experience.
Experience with security risk assessment methodologies and implementation.
Strong understanding of emergency management principles and crisis response.
Knowledge of relevant security regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong project management experience/skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, and ability to present information to internal/external stakeholders.
Microsoft Office suite and applicable software program(s) proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; preferred fields include Intelligence Studies, Security Management, Communications, Emergency Management, or relevant field; equivalent experience considered.
Experience in intelligence analysis, corporate security, risk monitoring, or related discipline.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information quickly.
Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and actionable reports.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain high productivity in a remote environment.
Familiarity with open-source intelligence (OSINT) methodologies and monitoring tools.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
Experience supporting crisis management, business continuity, or emergency operations.
Knowledge of security trends, risks, and threat assessment frameworks.
Experience with emergency notification platforms and intelligence analysis software.
Prior work in corporate security, government, military, or a similar operational environment.
