Job Title: Data Support Analyst (Power BI Focus)
Location: Spring TX (100% onsite)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Rate: $40 - $45/hr. on W2
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Support Analyst / Product Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI to support enterprise-level analytics initiatives. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and data teams to investigate data gaps, facilitate user adoption, and deliver high-quality reporting and insights.
The ideal candidate combines technical BI expertise , analytical thinking , and strong communication skills to bridge the gap between data and business.
Key Responsibilities
Assist ADDL in investigating data gaps driven by data model issues
Coordinate and support investigations related to booking practices, missing data, and business process gaps
Facilitate training sessions, demos, and testing activities with business users and power users
Provide ongoing support to users, including issue escalation and "how-to" guidance
Perform periodic data validation and quality control checks
Represent the delivery team in power user meetings or act on behalf of ADDL when required
Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Advisors, and delivery teams
Partner with users leveraging self-service tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Access, and Excel
Interface with visualization specialists when needed
Contribute to benefit tracking and reporting processes
Handle flat files, mappings, and data transformations as required
Develop and promote best practices for business engagement and communication
Core Responsibilities (Power BI Focus)
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and reports
Translate complex business requirements into scalable and high-performance BI solutions
Build advanced data models using fact/dimension design, relationships, and hierarchies
Develop optimized DAX measures, calculated columns, and time intelligence solutions
Utilize Power Query for data transformation and integration
Ensure best-in-class UX/UI design for dashboards and reporting
Connect Power BI to multiple data sources including SQL Server, SAP HANA, Snowflake, and cloud platforms
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong experience with Power BI (MANDATORY)
Advanced DAX expertise (measures, optimization, calculated tables)
Strong data modeling and Power Query skills
Experience with SAP HANA 2.0
Intermediate to advanced SQL skills , including:
Joins, aggregations, and subqueries
Views and window functions
Null handling and case statements
Pivoting data
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI
Strong understanding of data warehousing and BI concepts
Nice to Have
Experience with Snowflake
Exposure to self-service analytics tools (Alteryx, Excel, etc.)
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Capability to troubleshoot and resolve data/analytics issues
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
