Responsibilities Serve as a Joint Planner for DOD, Interagency, Allied, Participating Nations, and Country Team Counterdrug/Counter Transnational Organized Crime plans and policy. Conduct joint and interagency planning to prepare concepts of operations, operations plans, campaign plans, and operation orders. Prepare the design and staffing of myriad land, air, and maritime Counterdrug/ Counter Transnational Organized Crime plans. Initiate and coordinate planning requirements for new technologies and agreements to include developing performance criteria and employment techniques. Provide expert analysis and formulation of mid and long-range Counterdrug/Counter Transnational Organized Crime resource requirements. Initiate and coordinate planning requirements for new technologies and agreements with U. S. and foreign agencies. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing analysis of resource requirements to support a Counterdrug/Counter Transnational Organized Crime (CD/CTCO) mission; planning or assisting with the planning operations, event activities, policies, and procedures to support a Counterdrug/Counter Transnational Organized Crime (CD/CTCO) mission; and partnering with senior officials, ambassadors, Participating Nation militaries, law enforcement, and/or other liaisons in support of a Counterdrug/Counter Transnational Organized Crime (CD/CTCO) mission. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS/GG-12. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
