Horizon Media LLC seeks Manager, Business Intelligence in New York, NY. Develop and enhance the data and analytics capabilities of Horizon Next. Lead data modeling and reporting efforts to make data as accessible as possible throughout Horizon Next. Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to improve current data & analytics processes and develop new capabilities that set us apart in the marketplace. Identify ways to improve and add to Horizon Nexts data and analytics infrastructure. Build and improve the teams data visualization and dashboard practices. Drive education and adoption of data products across teams. Act as a liaison between the Horizon Next Analytics team and other internal teams on matters related to data sources, data access, and reporting availability. Educate non-technical team members on our data products and how best to use data to inform their decision-making process. Work with Horizon Next clients to understand their data and create meaningful KPIs for media campaigns. Manage and mentor Business Intelligence Analysts and Senior Analysts. Teach and guide Analysts on best practices and be a resource for them when they have questions or need direction. Oversee junior members of the Business Intelligence team to ensure they have clear project requirements and meet their deadlines. Enhance the skills of the entire Business Intelligence team by creating and implementing new processes and tools that all members of the team can benefit from. Requires a Masters degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research or related field, plus 2 years of related work experience. Requires any amount of experience with all of the following: Building dashboards and data visualization. Cleaning and transforming data for reporting and analytics. Using SQL to build data models in a cloud data warehouse. * Defining business KPIs in data with code. Telecommuting Permitted. $139,506 - $140,506 per year.
