We are looking to hire a Cleared Security Escort Manager to join our team in the Warrenton, VA area, where we provide cleared escorting services for our customers. This position is responsible for managing a team that provides escorting and monitoring of visitors in secure sites, including access control through confirmation of identification, conducting inspection of visitors and hand-carried items, and always maintaining line-of-sight on visitors.
This is a full-time permanent management role. This position reports to the Cluster Account Manager (CAM).
The Cleared Security Escort Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Responsible for all scheduling, administration, reporting, incident response, training, human resources concerns, timekeeping, and invoicing support for the assigned personnel on a 24/7/365 basis.
- Serve as a direct PGI representative to the Customer for all escorting services.
- Directly responsible for the contract compliance with all elements of customer statements of work, service level agreements, and quality assurance.
- Assist the CAM in developing, maintaining, and reporting individual program budgets, including minimizing unplanned overtime.
- Assist the CAM in providing strategic direction and direct guidance to operations and subordinates to manage activities and issue resolution, including physical security, safety, and business continuity events.
- Assist the CAM in creating or improving the operational systems, processes, and policies supporting the customer mission.
- Assist the CAM and operations staff in the planning and executing of screening, hiring, development, and retention of personnel.
- Ensure 100% staffing coverage and responsibility alignment for the assigned sites, teams, and shifts.
- Enforce PGI policies and standards of conduct.
- Other duties as required or delegated by the CAM.
- Complete and maintain pre-assignment, client, State, and PGI sustainment training as directed
- The position has ongoing training requirements, many of which are to be completed in an online environment.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of five (5) years of security, or one (1) year of local, state, or federal law enforcement experience
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing shifts of personnel, including screening, hiring, training, scheduling, and reporting activities.
- A minimum of 21 years of age
- Ability to complete a PGI Cleared Escort training course and conduct regularly scheduled sustainment training
- Firm grasp on the use and implementation of technology, programs, and applications on data-bearing devices.
- Strong ability to learn new technology systems and programs. Ability to troubleshoot and work through user-level issues with technology platforms and applications.
- Ability to demonstrate professional communication via verbal, written, and email correspondence
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to complete Cleared Escort Certification, including submission of fingerprints and background investigation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and periodic random drug screening
Required Security Clearance:
- Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience managing the physical and technical security aspects of large data centers or similar facilities.
- Ten (10) years of experience managing high volume (50+ security, military, or law enforcement professionals) employee development and training initiatives in a high-pressure and high-visibility environment.
- Significant experience diplomatically managing upward and downward within a defined chain of command with internal and external customers or stakeholders.
- Two years of experience in national-level incident response protocols
- A minimum of one (1) year of honorable military service, active or reserve, in any branch of the US Armed Forces
- Demonstrated history of safe and successful security operations experience in highly secure facilities
- Obtain or maintain a minimum of a Virginia Guard license.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to bend at the waist, knees,
- Must have the physical ability to perform a variety of training functions
- Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, walking long distances and operate equipment.
- Must be physically capable of standing an 8-hour post
