The Opportunity
At Ally, we're relentless about doing the right thing and delivering results that matter. In this newly created role within Operational Excellence in Customer Care and Operations (CCO), you'll support the translation of strategy into action by using digital process intelligence, analytics, and structured execution planning to support high-priority operational initiatives. You'll bring data-driven insight, organization, and coordination to complex work, helping identify opportunities, prepare initiatives for execution, and support delivery of operational improvements.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, thrives in cross-functional environments, and is motivated by turning strategic intent and process insight into tangible operational outcomes. The role may also support project or initiative management for select operational or digital process improvement efforts.
The Work Itself
Support translation of CCO strategic priorities into executable operational plans and roadmaps.
Develop execution plans, timelines, dependency maps, and readiness artifacts to support execution.
Coordinate readiness activities across people, processes, technology, and controls to ensure initiatives are prepared for delivery.
Support or lead project / initiative management for select operational or digital improvement efforts
Use digital process intelligence, process mining, and operational data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities across customer and operational journeys
Document concept summaries, requirements, assumptions, operational impacts, and success measures for assigned initiatives.
Track risks, issues, dependencies, and action items, escalating concerns as appropriate.
Prepare clear, concise materials for working sessions, governance forums, and leadership updates.
Support execution of ops-contained or short-cycle initiatives, as needed.
Partner with Operational Performance & Oversight to support post-deployment outcome tracking and validation.
The Skills You Bring
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities
Ability to break down ambiguous problems and support development of clear, actionable plans
Experience using data, process analysis, or process mining tools to understand operational performance preferred
Exposure to project management, initiative coordination, or execution planning
Experience tracking risks, issues, dependencies, and action items with attention to detail
Exposure to defining or tracking success measures, metrics, or operational outcomes
Experience with Confluence, Jira, or similar work / knowledge management tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and process visualization, process mining, or planning tools (e.g., Visio or equivalent)
3+ years' experience within financial services or similarly regulated environments preferred
Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodology experience (or exposure) preferred

Base Pay Range:
Emerging: 70000
Experienced: 95000
Expert: 120000
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
