Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Tempest Standards and Policy Analyst to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
Conducts facility reviews in support of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) inspections.
Evaluates and reviews TEMPEST products from manufacturers and determines TEMPEST requirements to protect against compromising emanations both domestically and overseas.
Responsible for overseeing all operations at a Northern Virginia-based laboratory and storage facility, including addressing any issues that may arise, maintaining the facility, and managing inventory of all equipment.
The TEMPEST Standards and Policy Analyst is responsible for working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition, to support facility operations, inspections, and policy development.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Eligible for and able to obtain and maintain required security clearance/access approvals.
At least five years of experience involving TEMPEST research, design, or testing.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar area of study is desired.
Specific knowledge of Department of State regulations and policies for TEMPEST emanations and technical security countermeasures.
Knowledge and understanding of Intelligence Community standards and directives.
Substantive knowledge and understanding of regulations governing the use of classified materials.
Understanding of radio frequency (RF) testing equipment use and processes.
Knowledge of acoustics is highly desired.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
Demonstrated experience working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition.
Good attitude and ability to work as a member of a team.
Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task efficiently, and work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.
Travel Requirements:
10-20% CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required for program coordination. May be required to travel OCONUS to conduct installation, training, or maintenance at diplomatic facilities. OCONUS travel may include critical threat locations around the world with austere living conditions. Domestic travel may be required for training and program coordination.
Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.
