Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as a Lead Counterintelligence Analystin support of the KCNSC
Office of Counterintelligence (OCI), supporting CI investigations,
site & program threat assessments, research & development analysis,
Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM),and intelligence related to
customer-driven requirements.
Identify, research, synthesize, and analyze relevant technical and
threat information across the spectrum of open-source and classified
channels.
Using intelligence analytic tradecraft methodologies and ethics,
produce and lead the production of project deliverables.
Function as the teams SME, as required, which may involve
responsibility for coordinating some of the work of specific
individuals and providing direction to them in connection with
intelligence projects.
Cogently articulate pervasive threats and vulnerabilities in all
products and to stakeholders.
Collaborate with counterpart CI Analysts and other IAs across the
DOE enterprise and IC, as well as cross-functional stakeholders, to
facilitate the exchange of best practices and intelligence
information.
Serve as briefer and discussion leader on areas of intelligence
specialty and topic expertise in line with internal and external
customer needs.
Tailor products to specific tasks, including formal and informal
briefings, complex written products, decision papers, and leading
stakeholder discussions.
Attend professional development engagements related to the IC and
key R&D topics, including training on IA tradecraft techniques,
tactics, and procedures.
You Must Have
Bachelors degree with a concentration in International Affairs,
Political Science, Foreign Area of Studies, National Security
Studies, or related field
7 or more years of cleared experience as an Intelligence Analyst
(IC, Military, or cleared defense contractor) researching, writing,
and synthesized information from multiple open and classified
sources
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
United States Citizenship
Ability to work on-site as directed by management and as determined
by the needs of the business
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)
security clearance (some positions require additional DOE
designations)

Extensive US intelligence community experience and familiarity with
seminal intelligence community policy (e.g., EO 12333, PDD 61).
Expert in serving as a technical lead in support of large, complex
projects.
Demonstrated analytical skills, proficient with computer software
applications, and the ability to produce and consume written
documentation.
Demonstrated initiative staying current on industry practice outside
of study and training, with a high and broad level of industry
knowledge.
Proven mentoring ability to guide initiatives results and technical
growth in peers.
Highly capable communicator (verbal, written, and presentation)
interacting with customers, peers, and management.
