Baystate Health, western Massachusetts's premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence seeks a Registered Nurse Facility Educator supporting Baystate Noble Hospital.
Under the direction of the System Director of Clinical Education with a matrix reporting to the facility Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the Facility Educator for Baystate Noble Hospital ensures clinical staff receive timely, relevant, responsive education, mentoring, and is responsible for hands-on educational support. The Facility Educator supports bedside education and assists with the implementation of new initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Bedside Teaching & Mentorship
Highly visible facility-based educator that provides real-time clinical education and coaching at the point of care.
Support staff with clinical decision-making, documentation, and procedural guidance.
Initiative Implementation
Assist in the deployment of new system-wide initiatives.
Ensure consistent messaging and training across shifts.
Serve as a resource for staff, with access to patient charts to support clinical reasoning and documentation.
Use digital tools to provide guidance and feedback.
Collaborative Leadership
Maintain a dotted-line reporting relationship with the CNO of each facility to align education with site-specific needs.
Communicate regularly with the central education team to ensure continuity and integration of educational efforts.
Mentors other professionals
SCHEDULE:
Full-Time 40 hours per week
Monday -Friday (flexibility based on the needs of the facility)
Travel required as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree Required: A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN), MSN or master's degree in health-related field if BSN.
RN Massachusetts (required).
At least three years of clinical experience.
Experience teaching/precepting individuals or groups of students or staff; Prior experience within a teaching hospital.
Project Management experience preferred.

Compensation
Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
