As a Mission Assurance Data Analyst supporting USTRANSCOM, you will help analyze and manage critical mission assurance data that informs operational planning and risk assessments across the command. This role supports the Mission Assurance Program by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data that helps identify operational dependencies, assess risk, and strengthen mission resilience across transportation and logistics operations.
What You Will Do
Collect, analyze, and synthesize data supporting Mission Assurance processes, including risk to mission, risk to force, vulnerability reports, threat information, and operational dependencies.
Support mission decomposition efforts by identifying critical capabilities, dependencies, task assets, and infrastructure requirements.
Populate and maintain Mission Assurance related data in enterprise systems such as MARMS, GMAP, and other Joint Staff directed repositories.
Maintain and improve data accuracy, integrity, and discoverability across NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS environments.
Manage and update organizational electronic accounts, dashboards, portals, and knowledge management sites.
Provide recommendations to improve Mission Assurance knowledge management plans, governance, content management, workflows, and data sharing processes.
Support entry of real time risk data into the Common Operating Picture and command decision support tools.
Conduct pre-assessment research, data collection, stakeholder engagement, and analysis of critical infrastructure supporting transportation missions.
What We Are Looking For
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, or a related field.
Five years of experience collecting and analyzing performance or operational data.
Three years of experience using data visualization tools such as Maven Smart Systems or PowerBI.
Familiarity with DoD networks and environments including NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS.
Ability to manage and analyze data across multiple classified and unclassified systems.
Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
Desired:
Experience supporting Mission Assurance or operational risk assessment activities.
Familiarity with knowledge management platforms, portals, and task management systems such as ETMS2, JSAP, JLLIS, MARMS, or GMAP.
Strong analytical skills supporting mission risk assessments and operational analysis.
Ability to operate effectively in demanding and time sensitive operational environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Clearance and Eligibility
Active DoD Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
Restricted to U.S. persons as defined under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
Location
-On-site at USTRANSCOM, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
-Occasional travel may be required in support of mission activities.
