General Purpose of Job
This entry-level position supports the protection of industrial control systems (ICS) and other operational technology (OT) assets from cybersecurity threats. The Junior IT/OT Security Analyst assists with monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance activities within OT environments. This role works under the guidance of the Cyber Security Manager and IT/OT Security Analysts to help maintain secure, reliable, and compliant operations while gaining hands-on experience with IT/OT cybersecurity technologies and processes.

Education
Minimum: Two (2) year associate degree in computer science or closely related field.
Minimum: One earned entry level IT or cybersecurity certifications (e.g. Security +, Network+, CCNA, etc.)
Preferred: OT/ICS security; GICSP certification. (Opportunity to pursue after hire)
Job-related experience, internships may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Experience
Minimum: One (1) year of professional or internship experience in IT, Cybersecurity, or networking, with exposure to OT or ICS environments.
Minimum: Exposure to system or network administration concepts (Windows, Linux, networking fundamentals).
Preferred: Exposure to SCADA environments.
Other Requirements
Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, including a personal computer, printers, copy machines and telephone.
Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations.
Normal work hours will be eight (8) hours Monday through Friday, between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
